www.newsarama.com/common/media/video/player.php?aid=29536The video is part 2 of this weeks 20 answers with Dan Didio. Now while there is a spoiler for Legion of 3 Worlds (not Dan's fault as he says Jully 22nd in the past tense, I think Newsarama put this one up before he knew it would run), someone asks if we'll see Terry McGuiness back in the comics and Dan says "Yes". Wonder how Terry will be coming back into the comics? One could argue that he was never really in comics if you mean current continuity wise, so we'll it be something new or just some more Batman Beyond adventures?

Well he did appear in current continuity on one of the 52 worlds during countdown, even though we just saw him hopping through a panel or two. I'm guessing we'll see him make an appearance in a multiverse story or a story that is about this earth. I don't think Terry will be appearing on New Earth.

I forgot about the brief appearance in 52. I've been meaning to sit down and give 52 the read through again.

I also wanted to re read 52 but that's a commitment that I am not sure that I can make at the moment. The brave soul who does it should share that they're planning to do it.

Well 52 is an entirely different story. It was a great read and I think I could re-read it again one time, but right now that is impossible. Countdown on the other hand was just bad. I wouldn't be able to read through that confusing endless piece of trash again.

I'm reading Identity Crisis right now for the first time since it came out and then I'm going to read Infinite Crisis and I'm debating if I should try to read through 52 as well.
As for Terry McG, I never saw the appeal in his character. I didn't hate him when the show was on, but I just could never get into the idea that Bruce would let some random kid become the next Batman. And from a creative perspective, I never understood why they didn't use one of the Robins for the show and had to create a new character. But once I saw the JLU episode "Epilogue," I really began to dislike the character. Talk about contrived... Terry's original origin was only kind of lame. His "real" origin is just plain stupid and convoluted.
Plus, comics have Damian and Terry makes a pathetic son of Batman compared to Damian.

I always thought Terry kinda looked and acted like Dick Grayson anyhow if he hadn't been a Robin first.
