Geoff wants to write Batman, that could be interesting or go horrible wrong.

I always assumed that if Geoff Johns hadn't written Batman by now it was because he had no interest in doing so. Maybe he's just waiting out Grant Morrison before he steps into the Batcave. Though it would be nice to see them working on the bat books at the same time, I doubt DC would want its two big guns on their one franchise that will sell no matter what.

Geoff Johns doing a Batman book would break the internet.
Morrison won't be on Batman forever, and at least one of the books has to have a superstar talent on it.

I think that Geoff Johns would rock when writing Dick Grayson as Batman. He is one of the strongest supporters of the character afterall.

So by rereading my Identity Crisis issues, I found an add for those Julie Schwartz tribute comics where the writer made up a story based on an old cover, and I saw that Geoff Johns wrote the Batman issue. I also saw that Grant Morrison wrote an Adam Strange issue. Anyone read any of these? Are they any good?

I remember Geoff did one of the last Black & White back up stories in Gotham Knights before they quit running those in that book. It had the Scarecrow as the villian.
