So it would appear that while Sin City is in development limbo, that much rumored followup to 300 is actually going to happen. And sooner than one would expect to hear when told that it will first come out as a Frank Miller comic. www.firstshowing.net/2009/06/25/zack-snyders-latest-updates-on-frank-millers-300-sequel/And the story is supposed to be taking place in between the Battle of Thermopylae and the Battle of Plataea which is all pretty irrelevant really as long is there are lots of guys killing each other in slow motion with cool music playing in the background, right?

Well, I guess it will be a fun and bloody thing to watch. I'll just have to shut down my historian self in order to enjoy the comic and movie just like with 300. It's damn hard, but it works.

I wonder if Lynn Varley is going to color the comic. I know a ton of other colorists could replicate what she did but still... Varley added a lot to that book.
