So....Cap is going back to its original numbering with issue 600 in July, and its also going to come out on a Monday, instead of Wednesday. Marvel is said to have it set up so they can give a story to the media and that this will be as big as Spiderman unmasking or Steve Captain America's death. And Marvel has given info that Brubaker and Hitch will being doing a Captain America Reborn book. Does this mean Steve Rogers is coming back to life? I read some intersting theories on bleedingcool.com www.bleedingcool.com/2009/06/02/the-return-of-captain-america-probably/

Marvel is like that girl who shyly gave a handjob to some guy and then when she saw the guy treated her better than complete shit, she just started giving him handjobs like nonstop so she could get attention. That scenario is horrible because I can't say for certain such a girl exists, however, if she did, it would fit perfectly.

I'm sure even they would have enough integrity to let Captain America ship normally.

And the retailers have to pay the extra shipping costs.

I'm tired of Marvel's media stunts. It'd be one thing if they heavily promoted some 5 star, top of the line comic work, but usually their promotions are gimmicky, one-off events intended to raise a quick profit that prey on the stigma of comics as "collectibles" as opposed to comics as a valid and valuable American artform.
Now I've really enjoyed Brubaker's Captain America, and it is one of their best books to make a massive promotion out of, but I'm having a hard time that a sudden swerve is exactly what the book needs right now, and I really hope Steve Rogers isn't coming back right now. There's no need. Bucky as Cap is going strong and he's just starting to interact with the rest of the Marvel Universe. I don't know what they have up their sleeve, but despite this book's history of stellar quality, it screams short term gimmick.

Yeah, I thought the idea was cool...until I found out that they announced this on final order cut-off day and didn't over print. What is the point? I could wait til Wenseday. They screwed the pooch by not thinking ahead and planning it all out. Oh and speaking of Bleeding Cool, did you see where they posted on Marvel's greediness.

I hope they don't bring Steve back. Bucky's fucking awesome as Cap and the series has never been better. And the series is selling better with Bucky than when Steve was the star (check Diamond Comics). So I don't get it, if that's the case.
I wish one of the big two would pick a status quo and stick with it.
HORSE SHIT!

A status quo is no way to sell comics. You've got to constantly be pulling rugs from beneath comic readers, that's how you stick it to those naive whiny little bitches! They don't know what's good for them till i tell them what's good for them and then they'll like it or they can scram, I tells ya!
You have to imagine that read with a thick New York accent.
With a cigar in his mouth so he's talking out of like, only one side.
The left side.
