So Morrison's first arc on Batman and Robin is over after issue 3 came out yesterday. I have to say it was a pretty good read. All together it was a great read with a pretty good ending. Professor Pyg is a disturbing new villain who could make for some good and creepy appearences in the future.
Damien seems to have actually gained a little bit of respect for Dick since he saved his life. Is the brat becoming more humble?
I'm very curious what Morrison is going to do with the next arc. I guess without Quietly it won't feel that much like an LSD trip when reading (which was actually a good thing). Grant has stated that he is writing each arc specifically for the artist drawing it.
The new (or is it still the same old same old Jason Todd?) Red Hood made his first appearence and chose his new sidekick. I'm pretty curious how that is going to turn out. Right now it would make the most sense that it is Jason Todd. Afterall he was the Red Hood before and is known to be a rough justice vigilante as well. But wouldn't that answer be to simple in a Morrison story? Especially since Grant hasn't used or mentioned Jason Todd in his Batman run as far as I know of. So I'm guessing that he is not that fond of him coming back. But I could be wrong. Perhaps he just didn't use him because he has time to play with him now (he made a similiar commentary about not using Dick Grayson to much in his issues prior to Batman & Robin).
So one of my theories is that the Red Hood could actually be none other than the Joker. He senses that the "real" Batman is dead and now he lost his purpose if being. So he is now trying to become something else. Sounds like something that Morrison could do.
