I also like to support Canadian music in whatever form it may be in. Thanks for Bryan Adams, Nickelback, and Sebastian Bach. Really appreciated those imports. But you did give us Three Days Grace and Dallas Green/Alexisonfire.

Yeah I've been listeing to Thurston Moore's latest album, Trees Outside of the Academy and its pretty freaking awesome. I also enjoy a ton of indy/local music which I would recomend looking up on myspace or google like A Moveable West, Tigerboy, hey manna!, filbert, Alexis Gideon, Rabbit Rabbit, Steeproof, A List of Astroids, Noah Gundersen, Garage Voice, and Tom Rorem. The genre's vary from quiet acoustic (Noah Gundesen) to loud, hardcore punk (Rabbit Rabbit). I find all of it quite enjoyable.

I've actually heard of a few of those local bands you mention just because I have a friend here in Kentucky who is from Sacramento.

I got to play a show with A List of Astroids tonight and heard a new band called Portrait of the Earth and they were really good. That's really cool to hear about local guys taking their hometown area music and spreading it.

Thanks for Bryan Adams, Nickelback, and Sebastian Bach. Really appreciated those imports. Hey, you gave us Britney Fucking Spears, so it evens out. I'm loving the new Chickenfoot CD. May not be anyone else's cup of tea round these parts, though. JW

Haha, why am I not surprised JW loves the Chickenfoot CD?
Right now I'm listening to Dredg's new album The Pariah, The Parrot, The Delusion.
I also stumbled upon this Dutch band called Volbeat who are this weird mix of Metallica knock off riffs mixed with rockabilly, structured like a punk song, and sung by the love child of Elvis Presley and James Hetfield. The combination of their influences, which come through quite blatantly, is so jarring that I'm becoming quite entranced because it actually works.

I've been rocking out the new It Dies Today cd "Lividity". Yeah, I like metalcore. The new 311 cd "Uplifter" is good too.

I've been wanting to check out the new 311 after hearing that 1st single. "Hey You" has been my least favorite song the cd. Its one of their albums thats really mellow and can relax you.

Haha, why am I not surprised JW loves the Chickenfoot CD? That's definitely the stuff I'm drawn to, whether it dates me or not: big and awesome lead guitars, good drums and bass with backing vocals. Sammy Hagar is pretty cheesy but his vocals are always sung well (if a bit blustery). I'm mainly in it for the Satch, Mike Anthony, Chad Smith trio. JW

I barely listen to anything new nowadays-- Tool - 10,000 Days is a stalwart of my listening right now, as is Tiger Lou - The Loyal. Brilliant sound.

I enjoy loadsa music like most people.
Particular faves would be; 60's pop/pyschadelia/garage Prog Rock Power Pop
Basically tunes with plenty o' melodic hooks n middle eights to elevate your head to the stratosphear or just far out Prog to either trip you out and/or rock out to.
I like alot of singer/songwriters too and any kinda post rock/avant garde stuff that's interesting.
My only hates are extreme forms of Ganster rap or Death metal, too much hate!
Oh and Opera singers test my patience too!

Talk about shitty music....I've been listening to Hollywood Undead. Generic heavy rock/rap, but still kinda catchy.
